Warriors To Win Series 4-2
Odds at +250
Wouldn’t it be fitting that the final potential NBA game at Oracle Arena at Oakland is the one that gives the Warriors their three-peat? I think it is and because the Warriors do not have home-court benefit, this seems like a prime spot for Golden State to close the deal.
Here is how I picture it: I expect the Warriors to receive a split in the first two games in Toronto, win Games 3 and 4 with Kevin Durant back in the lineup in Oakland, lose a hard-fought match back in Toronto for Game 5 and clinch it in Game 6. Thank me later after you money that bet.
Player To Record the Assists in the Series Kyle Lowry at +210
I expect Lowry to become more of a distributor in a scorer in this series as he will likely be tasked with trying to slow down Stephen Curry. Lowry averaged 8.6 assists during the regular season, which was next in the NBA, and the only reason that he has not averaged more assists from the postseason is because Raptors’ shooters couldn’t hit a shot.
I expect it to change in the Finals because the Warriors’ defense isn’t as powerful as Milwaukee’s or Philly’s when it comes to quitting perimeter shots and I can see Lowry getting off to a hot start by enjoying the first two games at home.
